MISSION |
|
The Texas Society
for Clinical Social Work was founded
thirty years ago to address the
“in the trenches” needs and concerns of social workers in
clinical practice in agencies, hospitals, and/or private practice. The
Texas Society for Clinical Social Work strives to promote excellence
in clinical social work practice, and maintain the identity of clinical
social work as a distinct profession within the mental health field.
The practice of clinical social work is rooted in the basic values of
the social work profession that includes
a commitment to the dignity,
well-being, and self-determination of the individual. |
